3. App Permissions Used

The Voice Changer app requires the following permissions to function correctly. Each permission is used strictly for its intended purpose and in compliance with Google Play policies.


android.permission.RECORD_AUDIO — Allows the app to access the device microphone to record your voice. Audio recordings are stored locally on the user’s device and are not uploaded to any server.

android.permission.WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE — Allows the app to save recorded and processed audio files to the device’s external storage so users can access, share, or reuse their recordings.

android.permission.READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE — Allows the app to read audio files stored on the device if the user chooses to import or modify existing recordings.

android.permission.POST_NOTIFICATIONS — Allows the app to send notifications related to important updates, feature announcements, or service-related information.

android.permission.WAKE_LOCK — Allows the app to keep the device awake during active voice recording or processing to ensure uninterrupted operation and a smooth user experience.

android.permission.INTERNET — Required to enable ads, analytics, in-app purchases, crash reporting, and service-related communications.

com.android.vending.BILLING — Allows the app to use Google Play’s billing system for in-app purchases and subscriptions. All transactions are processed securely by Google Play.

These permissions are only used when required, and users maintain full control through Android’s permission management system.
